“The Jewish Film Institute champions film, media and dialogue that inspires communities in San Francisco and around the world to expand their understanding of Jewish experience. We believe that a nuanced understanding of the richness and diversity of Jewish experiences is essential to the advancement of culture, history, and identity, to combatting prejudice and antisemitism, and to nurturing storytellers whose voices are needed more than ever in our fractured civic landscape.”
